Conscious Living for Steemers with Stoicism...Here's how to make positive changes...👍 ✅

I love stoicism from Greece and Rome with the main Stoic philosophers creating and developing a movement and philosophy of transformation that is still valid and appreciated today, I have certainly gained a lot from studying it.

As religion wasn’t really mainstream at that time these motivational speakers of the day inspired people with a sense conscious living in daily life. I am a huge fan of the Soic philosophers such as Epicticus, Marcus Aurelius and Seneca.

The original Stoics tell us to let go of your beliefs and expectations of how things must be. Ground yourself thoroughly in reality, then select carefully what you would like to change about the others, the world, or yourself.

With Steemit should we let go of our beliefs and expectations of how things must be?

Or is it indeed better to carefully select what we would like to change perhaps about fellow Steemers, this Platform and Steem?

In order to change things, you must first embrace them as they are.

What changes would you like to see here on Steemit?

This Epictetus quote is one of my favorite:

“We cannot choose our external circumstances, but we can always choose how we respond to them.”

How have you responded to the recent fall of STEEM?
How did you respond to the reduced payouts?
How have you responded to criticism or rejection?

The way we respond in any situation can predict our capability for success and sense of harmony. With conscious living as a focus I have a great opportunity to keep improving myself and guiding others to find their better way.
