The Saddleridge Fire

It’s been a smoke filled couple of days here in Los Angeles. Even Though the fire is several miles away and over the hill, smoke and ash found it’s way to our doorstep in Hollywood.

The evening breeze carries the smoke and ash back from the ocean, where it was being carried, back to the mainland.

That layer of black and brown passing by our office window was just that. When I got to work yesterday the air was fine to breathe, but by the time I took this picture, masks were worth wearing.

I admit, the fires do provide apocalyptic inspiration for The Tear, but I hope that they’re put out ASAP and that nobody else is hurt.
