Tour de France starts today in Düsseldorf

We decided to have a family and friend trip tomwatch the tour

Together with 3 families we put together a set of food, beer and drinks for the kids.

As we watch from Belgium we have to go with a light drinking beer into the afternoon.

The Tour

We where at the first stage where the bikes drive from Düsseldorf via Aachen to Liege in Belgium.

Our location

After the bikes had their race through the city of Aachen, they have to climb the Lütticherstrasse (Street to Liege) with a nice hill. Than they speed up while going down into Belgium, where we are waiting right at the border.

The marketing driver

An hour before all the driver on their bicycles arrive, there are several teams and even more marketing teams driving by.
