In her arms; life takes its first breath
She is happy when she has an occasion to be feminine
capable of more sacrifices than a man
Man is more apt to be a hero through some great passionate
And outburst of heroism
But a woman’s love makes a thousand small sacrifices
Sprinkling them through the days and the months
Not only her soul, but her body
Has some share in the Calvary of redemption
A woman is much more a creature of time than man
She is always much more concerned about her age than a man
She thinks more of marriage in terms of time
Afraid of dying before he has lived
And she basically afraid of dying before she begotten life.
She is the protector and defender of life
A flower overhanging a vase
A frivolity and allurement
Her very body commits her to the drama of existence
And links her in some way with the rhythm of the cosmos
In her arms, life takes its first breath and in her arms
life wants to die
The woman with her children is “at home”
And man is “at home with her”
