There is nothing like having a kid.
I laughed at your line about her throwing a toy at your head. Yes, my boys do the same.
One of my Japanese friends jokes to me "When we were kids, our fathers spanked us and punished us for doing anything; these days we don't want to do that to our kids, but our kids hit us! We lose at both ends." haha I can relate to what he says.
She wasn't doing it intentionally, I guess it is just her way to tell me to play with her.
And we might lose in one way but at the end we will win even more. At least I hope so.
