RE: From Low Life and Criminal to Hooker and Witch - Don't Judge Someone By The Ink On Their Skin (Real Life Story)

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Love this post. I have one tattoo and it takes up the whole back of my neck. I had designed it and then could not decide where I wanted it. I wanted it in a place I could show it off but also hide it. I liked the idea of the neck but I had a bunch of guys telling me it would really hurt. But I decided it had to go on my neck, I could pull my hair up into a bun and show it off or leave my hair down to cover it. Well, I was surprised it did not hurt at all, in fact, it tickled in some places. One day I was in the grocery store about 2 months after having it and I had my hair up. A lady in her late 70's was behind, she tapped me on the shoulder and said I had the most beautiful tattoo she had ever seen and asked if the two names hidden in it were my children's names which they were. I have yet to be judged and now I don't even think about if I should hide it anymore. I don't even know why I was so paranoid.126.jpg

Nice piece indeed ;) Thanks for sharing. Girls always have a higher pain level.... rib cage hurts though and the steampunk cat took 16 hours in one go... after a while that hurt too ;) Last few hours were brutal.

Have you had the top of the foot done, I was contemplating something there but I have feeling that one would actually hurt.

Nope... for some reason unknown to me I don't like tattoos on my hands, neck, upper legs and top of the foot. I'm sure you'll do fine. Girl power... we are designed to give birth and endure pain ;)
