Community - Flame Wars

Flamewars is when a huge discussion is formed on a subject that is not considered transcendental for humanity as cartoons or videogames with pages and pages full of endless paragraphs of insults and arguments that ultimately do not go anywhere and end up being insignificant because no one will have a definitive answer to the issue raised in most cases, this is the case in which content creators despise and consider as toxic even reaching the point of saying that this is so latent that they call our generation Like the generation of hatred, I do not agree with this and I consider that the problem is the opposite, being more a problem of sencivility than aggressiveness.

I did live in the era in which the flamewars were latent, I remember all those discussions of naruto vs dragon ball, nintendero vs sonllers, reggetoneros vs metalleros and atheists vs religious. The aggressive discussion was the bread of every day in the old days of the Internet and people never made such a drama to consider that as a great social problem, acontinuacion I will expose some points of why participate in an activity as osseous as a fameward not s something as negative as some fatalists say:

1) KEEP THE COMMUNITY LIVING

This first point will sound to something that is not the big deal, it always ends up being much better and more beneficial to have a discussion that can rub the insults to simply be inactive and the interest die as a result. You could say that this does not have to be the case but many people lose interest when the community is so friendly, nobody discusses anything and everyone agrees.

2) VARIETY

Taking into account the above, the discussion also shows that there are differences of opinion which is the thanks that we all agree on something.

3) IT IS A MENTAL EXERCISE

Many tend to forget that flamewars are not just a lot of insults but also a lot of arguments, the simple fact that you are in a discussion is good for the mind is how to solve a puzzul, your opponent will pass strong data that you did not know and as a consequence that will make you want to investigate about the subject or think about a counter argument that can shut your mouth, it does not matter if in the process the two people are insulting the mother, if they are called stupid or if they are being racist, in the end both people are learning something and are motivated to learn something more about the subject.

4) THERE IS NO CLEAR DEFINITION OF TOXIC

If you have not noticed this buzzword never has specification when it is used, each viewer and content creator uses it in whatever context and with the meaning that suits you, you can say that toxic is all that is harmful or harmful but the persecution of what is harmful to the community always ends up being an object of discussion that varies from person to person therefore when a person uses the word "toxic" in most cases it does not mean anything since it is a very general term and ambiguous that does not specify the specific problem or the severity of the effect.

5) THE REASON FOR WHICH MANY CONTENT CREATORS ARE AGAINST IS WHY RULE YOUR PUBLIC IMAGE

It's not bad that you do not like as flame wars or that you want to maintain a profile or public image but condemning the flame wars just because it hurts a few people in the process makes you see how politically correct it is to give a lot of importance to something that does not you have it in general are an image in addition to being hypocritical because you yourself create flame wars when you try to suppress those who like or create flame wars.

6) THE FACT THAT RESPECT IS GAINED IS A UNIVERSAL VALUE.

Like it or not this is a truth that applies to everyone regardless of how you manifest it, you do not respect someone until that someone earns your respect, do not insult someone or that this is indifferent to you does not mean that you respect him that does not It makes a lot of sense.

7) HUMANS CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT CONFLICT

Look at Japan and Russia, they are powerful nations with great resources, good economies, first world, disciplinary values and even so they have many social problems the reason is not coincidence, the people of a fourth world country have to worry about a tomorrow, that they will eat , how will work, where will live and many other concerns that concern vital things but those people of the first world who already have an assured tomorrow begin to have more emotional and psychological existential problems, this is proof that absolute happiness does not exist, if something is missing you will be happy by necessity, if the bears do not lack you will be unhappy because of the lack of conflict in your life, monotony and boredom are a problem of the first world.

And to avoid deviating this conflict in human nature and you can not avoid the so-called "flame wars" or "toxic discussions" is in the DNA discuss and make verbal wars.
