A promise is a promise no matter how big or tiny it is. Usually, promises seem to be a 'maybe' most of the time. But promises are meant to keep, no? Also, there's an ethical connection with keeping promises. Not only in our personal life but in our professional life also, promises have a huge impact. So, we need to shift from the 'maybe' phase of promises to 'truly keep' it.

You may notice how many times people say that they will do this or that for us. And we are also not excluded. At least when it comes to a tiny thing like, 'I will send you the photos', or 'I will go with you'; we don't try very hard to keep it later. We forget it or don't make it our priority. Whatever it is the end result may not seem very important but there's an impact for sure.

Saying the truth is better than making fake promises. But saying the truth is not easy. So, we usually make promises, we make it sounds like 'maybe' and later we get out of the vow. But people around us will judge us depends on this. How trustworthy we will be to them, how they will treat us depends on how good we are making promises.

The first rule to keep promises is only make a promise if you truly can meet it. And secondly, try to say the truth that you are unable for some reason. Making ourselves clear always helps. We as human beings, unpatterned human beings we will always make it worse in some way. But keeping promises can help a lot to make it better in every way. So try to keep promises!
