Poverty Cannot Beat a Teacher

Education plays an important role to our lives. Education develops human skills and intelligence that will lead in having a successful and good life. It also brings positive changes, not only to every people but also to the world. It is one of the basic needs of a human being, but there times that education was not given to a person. Poverty or financial problem is one of the challenges that the education is facing, financial problem of the family or financial problem of the country.

I really admire the teacher in the pictures as he pursue his career, he is not only a teacher in profession but also a teacher in heart. No challenges can beat his will to teach his students despite of shortage in mediums. He choose to draw the whole interface and parts of a word processing window in the board, even the school lacks in computer machines students can still learn even the interface of this computer application.

Many schools in the Philippines was in this kind of situations, lacking of classrooms, good ventilation, and even educational tools like chalks, markers, boards, chairs and tables.

I hope that

... our fellow Filipino teachers would not give up to this challenges they are facing,
... these teachers still try to teach the students,
... the government give attention to the educational institutions of our country,
... help come to this kind of schools especially to the rural areas of the Philippines, and
... corruption wont steal the right of our people to have education and learn.
