Still Working On The Greenhouse
I have been helping out @steve-mcclair on his greenhouse. It is really starting to come together a lot better. He isn't going off of any blue prints or anything. He is just going boss level and coming up with his own thing. The one big worry is if a microburst hits it. We don't really know if it will survive. The plastic will go up soon. He is going to grow tomatoes, radishes, micro greens, lettuce, and other traditional nourishment.

That's one big ass greenhouse, you will be able to get crops in there!
Yeah and he is going to plant other stuff along the left side of it as well. It is 1600 Square feet and should get some economies of scale at that point. He has a smaller greenhouse as well.
Thats wild. I would love that kind of thing. I would grow chillis chillis and more chillis! :O)

That's a rad greenhouse. That will make a crazy amount of food. Cool.
Yeah it will be interesting when everything is going. It is right in town here as well so he should have a solid supply and be able to pump a lot of volume.

Those microburst...crap. Its worth the gamble tho. You guys are almost passed the monsoons tho. What does he plan on growing in there?

I guess there is really nothing a person can do against the microburst. One hit the next road up and it was so strong it snapped the power line poles so a greenhouse would just be fresh meat for a microburst no matter what.
It will survive the dust devils though! LOL

Thanks! Yeah Steve has been working on it like a beast. I have been helping out with the project but have a lot of other projects going on. We are going to get the plastic up and get some stuff planted hopefully by Sunday! It will be interesting for sure.
Wow that's really a giant greenhouse. I don't have nearly as much room to work with but was considering getting one of these 10x10 or 10x15 shed greenhouse combos. Basically half can be used as a shed the other half for gardening and planting.
That would be pretty cool and then you can use it for multiple purposes. I'm telling Steve he should just live in the greenhouse during the winter so he doesn't keep having to drive home. LOL
