Haifa Is In Fire Хайфа в огне

Many of my friends are asking me "What is going on in Haifa?" Now I will try to describe shortly the picture in order not to answer everyone in private.

Многие мои друзья, спрашивают сейчас "Ну, что там происходит в вашей Хайфе?" Дабы не отвечать каждому по отдельности, напишу сразу для всех что и как.

So, today is about 5.00 in the morning (25.11.2016) and I don't know what will this day bring to us. I planned to celebrate my birthday, that had been two days ago. But, probably, will not do it the "planned way". My son is in the army - and all week-ends, holidays and day-offs are cancelled there.

Итак, сегодня у нас 5.00 утра и, честно говоря, ч пока не знаю, чем этот день закончится. Я планировал отпраздновать свой день рождения, который был позавчера, но теперь даже не знаю получится ли это сделать как запланировал. Средний сын сейчас в армии, а у них на эти дни отменили все праздники и выходные.

I wanted to start this morning from traditional half-marathon walking around Haifa with my wife. But now it is not possible. At least half of our beautiful city is in fire.

Я хотел начать этот день с традиционного для нас с женой пешего полумарафона по Хайфе и окресностям, но увы, сегодня это невозможно. Ка минимум половина из тех мест, где мы бы должны были идти - сейчас в огне.

Fortunately, my house is a few kilometers aside from the main fires. My eldest daughter with her family is in another safe region, and the youngest daughter with my wife is with me. The lessons in schools are naturally cancelled. In our region life is going on and even some shops are working.

К счастью, мой дом находится в нескольких километрах от основных пожаров. Моя старшая дочь тоже живёт в пока безопасном районе, а младшая дочь сейчас с нами - занятия в школах, естественно, отменены. В нашем районе даже работают некоторые магазины.

They say in media, that Haifa was set on fire from six sides (like shape of Jewish star magendavid?)) and because of the wildest this year wind hamsin with sand it can not be stopped.

В СМИ говорят, что Хайфа была подожжена сразу с шести сторон (по фигуре Магендавида что ли??)) и из-за жесточайшего в этом шоду хамсина (ветра с песком из пустыни) остановить его пока невозможно.

Many countries are helping us now. Even Palestinians proposed their help. But we all are waiting for very powerful russian anti-fire air-plane, that is supposed to arrive in these minutes.

Многие страны сейчас нам помогают. Помощь предложили даже палестинцы. Но у нас большие надежды возлагают на прибытие специального, супермощного самолёта из России, который уже однажды помогал нам. Как раз в эти минуты ожидается его прибытие.

What about details? I will not tell you much, as I am a very optimistic and positive person)) Shortly will say, that more than 100 people applied to medical service, about the third part of city population is evacuated.

Что сказать о подробностях?Честно говоря не хочется особо о них, я ведь по натйре очень позитивный и оптимистчиный человек. Вкратце скажу, что более чем 100 людям была оказана медицинская помощь, и больше чем треть населения города на данный момент эвакуирована.

Возможно фотографии скажут вам больше. Я их взял из профилей друзей на Фейсбуке, поэтом невозможно разобраться из каких они источников (но если кто-то потребует, я немедленно их укажу).
