Speech-making "The Mind"
Today, I just pass by an attractive post title:
MOTIVATION: have you learned something today?
nicely posted by @bimboola42,
and felt some connection to it.
It is about how much physical information our human brain can hold, and how small this is compared to what we experience with our minds.
Sometimes I think about all that, and end up to the following idea: We talk about how much information a system can hold... imagining separated units labeled with 'ones' and 'zeros' of some kind but, actually, I imagine all experiences are a plethora of countless units, but not single isolated-units... When we experience something, those units of information are somehow connected. And the way they are connected in time, felling, situation, and state of mind, are also hold information to a much larger level... And indeed, what we "remember" from experiences, what is "in our minds", is this interconnected mixture of units -in a unique entanglement with our mental state when we actually lived that moment- which is holding much more information than the single units taken alone.
Having this imaginary picture where states of mind are a matrix, fell good. Holding those info-units, a net-like interconnected structure is caring much more info than the pile-up of single units alone. Stimulate one single piece in that, and felling might reverberate across endless connections, reaching far sides in time. Stretching not only to the lived-past, our mind is full of imaginable futures.
Our mind-moves then reverberate not only through the experiences we had but also through those we create.
Can't guess how big this could be. Really, mind states are just amazing white-elephants to imagine. How amazing is this "something" allowing us to conceive the idea of infinity, almost as if we could touch it -and couldn't at the same time-?
Almost at our reach.
Not sizable.
Brain Contained?
Creative.
Yea, I guess we just don't know what we are talking about,
and yet, feels great -and mandatory- to talk about it.
b.b.
