Yes!! You put it exactly right. People get uncomfortable around us, if we are too much ourselves. So we tamp down and break ourselves down into smaller unauthentic versions of ourselves. We have to stop doing that! It's basically murder. :)
Yes, as you get older it just gets more and more exhausting. It hard to maintain.
Oh man, yes!! Because you have more and more of yourself that you have to hide. Until eventually you decide enough is enough and you are not going to do it anymore. I hope. :)
