Success is very subjective. Each one has their own meaning they attribute to that word. Each one has a different meaning for it and a different way for approaching their so-called success. Among other things that lead you to it, the most important would be life lessons. Lessons that are only derived from first hand experiences. Lessons that cannot be taught by a book or a guru or even a youtube tutorial.

There are plenty of ways to learn and prepare yourself for a rough ride or even how to enjoy the smoothness of it. But, one thing is for certain, nothing will help you go through life like life will. You have to be roughed up by experiences, both good and bad, before knowing what happened and what should happen. It's like the past is you entering the frat house, and the future is awaiting inside right after you pass through the inevtaible hazing - the present. For some it's beautiful, for some it's a nightmare, either ways you get in.

Life doesn't have to be shitty and dark. The whole world isn't out to get you. Everyone goes through rough phases, some have it more bitter than others. But, this doesn't nullify the fact that life is absolutely beaitiful and something to rejoice about. Life is amazing and the experiences that shape you can be simple, easy and nice. Experiences can be the either side of the coin and that's why each of us lead something unique and individual.

Even though everything happens for a reason and every experience does leave an impact on you forever, negligible or life altering, the important thing is that you go through it. You don't have to carry it along with you forever, you just have to acknowledge that it happened and can be either used as a lesson or be given little attention.
So the next time just think if you want to acknowledge and enjoy the situation here and now, or you want to take away a lesson from it.
