Yes.....for example adding The Easter bunny to The Ressurection of Christ....or Father Christmas to The Christ-mas Story. Adding a false notion to a Truth......muddies the water as it were. Which story is the truth....as some know the myths are lies and only the Story of Christ is the truth. These additions are subtle yet distract from the Truth.
And as a believer in Christ Jesus....it is hard not to miss all the additions religions would press upon the simple gospel of Christ....the good news. Faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.
