It seems last week's principle was a bit confusing, this week we are looking at the same principle with a bit different perspective.

yes .great principle ..we cant change our partner in life ,only we can change..but not really change,all we had to do is understand them.,their shortcomings their weaknesses and strength and acceptand love them who they really are

The ducks are on the pond. Over. Copy that. Great principle and I love the photography and editing. Great work. I have upvoted and resteemed to our followers over at @myhuntingfishing. Us mallards need only look at our own reflection. We can only hope and pray they do the same. But we sure can keep ourselves out of trouble by focusing on improving our own selves. It is quite true indeed.

So very true, I've come to realize that expecting something specific in other's, such as in behaviour, belief, action, or the other 'you shoulds', only leads to frustration and disappointment in life. We can only control our own actions, and reactions to what other people say and do. Very interesting idea you've put forth.
I am curious where the confusion came in, from the idea of other people, vs. one's spouse...Just wondering, I can't help myself sometimes ( :
And I love the duck photos. Particularly all the renditions. Ducks are so fun to watch paddling about. And landing at the 'duck airport' on the water, is a real hoot. Thanks for the great views of our web-footed friends.

Regarding the confusion.....there were a few comments that seemed to see the previous principle as getting to one's goal regardless of people and others that were confused as it relates to child rearing. However it is as simple as.......one prefers a bleu colour whilst another prefers red. Respect of one's choices is in view.

That is one thing I like about Steemit. When there is a mis-understanding, there is still little snark, etc on here. Folks just talk or apologize for mis-reads/comments, and it's usually all good. Not sure if it is the profit motive, or just a lot of nice folks. I prefer to think of it as the latter. There are a lot of genuinely nice people on Steemit. I know I've met quite a few.
As for the idea of me vs. you, I've always felt, if someone is not bothering/hurting someone else, just leave them be to their beliefs, actions and such. I like your analogy, bleu vs. red.
