Everyone is a leader of it's own conciousness. Being a leader is a courageous act but if you are not a principled leader then your followers will suffer. Then the courage doesn't mean anything but a sure path to failure.

To be a leader is a very hard job. And when the things dont go very well is more hard to be leader.

Yes...there is pressure when one is a leader that those in the organisation do not experience....and you are correct, the pressure increases when there are bumps in the road.

I agree with your principle, @bleujay. However, being a leader is not something which fits everyone. I think that there are people who can be better when they are "followers" than when they are "leaders". Thanks for sharing this great post!

Thank you for your reply. Indeed.....what is the saying...Too many chiefs not enough indians. Leading is not for everyone...however many times we are in leadership roles without even recognizing the responsibility.....ie. husbands, parents, older generations,...perhaps even older Steemians...
