So About that Last Post...

in #life7 years ago

So in my last post I shared that I had passed my exam to become a NASM certified personal trainer, and if you go back through the history you can see that it took me a little while to get the work done to accomplish the task. Up until then, I hadn't written a post in 2 whole months!

Crazy right?

There where a lot of thing that went into that, but one of the main things is that the preparation was a little more difficult than I had actually expected. And along with that I was really focused on posting more than actually getting prepared for the test.

But know that that part is all over I get to actually put what I've learned in action. Hopefully I can use this to find a job soon and getting to helping others reach their health goals whatever those goals may be. I also love to help my fellow steemians as well.

But I also want to share that I may have dug myself into a little whole. I just couldn't help myself from seeking out another challenge so I chose to order study materials for exercise physiology right after becoming certified as personal trainer. And from the looks of things so far, this is going to be a beast.

As with the last test I was little afraid to tell anyone that I'd be preparing to sit for this test, one of the main reasons being that there is a real possibility that I may fail.

So far the material is really a lot more in depth than anything that I could ever imagine it could be, which is needed if I really want to have the best understanding of what I'm doing, but MAN! Wish me luck... smh

I haven't gotten through a significant portion of the text yet, but just skimming through it seems to emphasize the metabolic aspects of physical activity as opposed to focusing on anatomical structure. Both are very important to understand but for me I think this may take a lot focus to get a grasp of the concepts.

Anyways, it just seems like the struggle and journey worth sharing on steemit. Even though I haven't been posting as much lately, I have been reading post and keeping up with the platform as much as possible, and it seems more about personal journeys than anything else.

With that being said, this will be a sure test of will and dedication more than anything else, but I plan on sticking too it. I cant wait to see how this all unfolds whether it be with a pass or fail, I honestly dont know at this point, but I will prepare myself the best way I know how. I also plan to share some things that may help readers of the content so stay tuned for that too.

Now, I honestly may be attempting to do too much at once, If you have any advice or informed opinions on that please let me know. Otherwise thanks reading and look out for the next update.

Is never too much, don't worry about that, is about how you organise your time and your focus.

Is very cool that you want to do more and more, that is a quality that few have and is a quality of a winner :)

You just need to organise your time, and you will be able to do it all :D

Thanks man, I'm feeling motivated to back out here and study so I can keep crushing. Always good to get that motivating feedback

Anytime :) , take care of yourself and good luck!

True, I'm trying to make them count
