Oh my goodness! These are such wonderful stories. I had no idea that squirrels could purr or that crows form sharing circles... So glad I came across this, and that it got curied <3

My one good squirrel story is a hilarious one involving a park bench and a peanut butter sandwich... I'll tell it at some point :D

Ha! I am so excited to read your stories! @bennettitalia Thank you so much for sharing them with me - I will definitely read them! I've never met anyone else that has these interactions (I had a firefly experience that was pretty amazing to your dragonfly). I usually never 'tell' ;)
Yes, what I saw with the crows that day was truly amazing and I haven't seen it since. Nor have I read about this being part of their behavior. Unfortunately, I will never know what happens to the peanuts once they've deposited them in the middle! LOL Squirrels are such clowns and trouble makers - partly why I enjoy them so much.
Thank you for your support and interest - means so much. I am beside myself moved that it was picked up by a curator. :) What a difference a curator makes! I'm a week into the Steemit experience and I can see why people lose interest - there is a lot of amazing content that never gets seen. So I am both grateful and want to pay this experience forward.

Yes, it was reaching a dramatic crescendo by the time the squirrels descended on the proceedings... so funny and cute, but like you I'm very curious about the next part of the ritual!
The first time I was curied it was a total shock at first. I saw the payout amount and I was just like... WHAT HAPPENED? lol.
I hope you stick with it... Steemit is weird, doesn't always work the best to reward great content. Was just visiting your blog, with its gorgeous photographs, and brave and beautiful poems. Your work is definitely not getting the attention it deserves...

I understand though, I have more too... that I've been hesitant to share. Maybe I'll work up the courage to share more of the esoteric stuff as I go along.
I am very hesitant. And I know a lot of people have probably had their own experiences - I know they have. I don't know why it is so difficult to share these amazing stories. Courage to us all!
hmmm.... I think maybe experiences of having been targeted for being "different" in past lives or ancestral (genetic) memory. Which is why I try to take my inner cautions seriously, and not go past them. Hesitation is always there for a reason, even if it's an old one that doesn't necessarily apply anymore, it still means there's old stuff there to be cleared I think. Until I can feel that it doesn't apply anymore, I do my best to honor it.
