Your eyes are also the most vulnerable part of your body: it is therefore essential to protect them to preserve and improve vision.

Protect your eyes from the sun
Like all energy sources, the sun is essential to life but can also have extremely harmful consequences. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is largely responsible for the dangers of exposure to the sun since it can burn skin and eyes, but also cause long-term damage if no preventive measures are taken.

The UV rays of the sun are an obvious and real danger when you are on the beach on a sunny day, but they are equally harmful when the sky is overcast or there is snow since it reflects the light in the sun. your eyes.

When you go out, wear quality sunglasses that protect against UV rays;
Wear a cap or hat with a wide brim and take breaks in the shade;
Never look at the sun directly, especially with binoculars or during a solar eclipse.
Prevent eyestrain
Sometimes we expose our eyes to the greatest dangers. The tired eyes are likely to develop eye or visual problems in the short and long term. In order to protect your vision and maintain the health of your eyes, it is recommended to take the following tips to reduce the risk of eye strain:

Take breaks when working on screen. If possible, take a 15-minute break every two hours away from the computer, and rest your eyes regularly, every 20 minutes, looking around the room.
Provide good lighting. Your eyes need adequate light to read and write, work on a computer or watch TV. In low light conditions or in the dark, your eyes have to work harder than usual, which is causing eyestrain.
Blink often to refresh and moisturize.
Wear the appropriate correction devices. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, make sure that the correction is constantly adapted to your eyes and the type of work you do.
Maintain good air quality. To prevent problems with dry eyes and improve your vision, use a humidifier, do not overheat the house, avoid smoke and be in contact with other polluting substances.

I definitely need to practice taking breaks when working on screen for sure, I also use a ring light when I record videos and sometimes it really affects my eyes, so thank you for the reminder with this. While I love tech, our eyes genetically aren't meant to deal with so much artificial lighting so we gotta have a balance for sure

yes, i forget my self hours using laptop without taking a break too, but our eyes deserve that we try to change this bad habite :) ,thankx for your comment and i wish you good health
