Daisy Chain (A Short Fiction Tale of Women Taking Over)

Bob and Dick woke up to work on their latest breakthrough dev project together. Dick was in Seattle in an overpriced loft that had amazing lighting and Bob was in Texas trying to ignore his wife who was yelling at him about leaving the toilet seat up.

Dick was feeling especially cocky with his holdings and trades going "To The Moon"! Bob was a bit sad he was having issues getting anything into liquid and off some exchanges, so he snuck into the bathroom to do some shots of Whiskey. They were merely two dudes out of 5 million who were racing to make apps and developing things of great importance. They both were trying to do whatever it took to make the Trending Page.
...They both knew they were destined to dominate the blockchain and make names for themselves no matter what the cost was. Truth be told Dick had taken out a second mortgage on his ski-cabin to fuel his insatiable lust for blockchain, babes and bitcoin!!!

They logged in and looked at all the posts and pics yelling, "look at me, upvote me, look at my ass, look at this new shitcoin".... Suddenly they noticed something very peculiar.

With much trepidation they ventured onto the Trending Page and it was all women and one man. Almost every post was about making wise financial decisions. Dick and Bob's heads were reeling from so much information such as how to negotiate and avoid conflict and also conflict resolution in case conflict could not be avoided. The only man on the page had made a bench pressing vlog where he spread the good word of Creatine and flexing for fans. He also was very rich and decided to open some charities dedicated to spreading the good word of bodybuilding and crypto!

Bob felt his ego shriveling and realized that he and Dick may have very well Circle-Jerked their way into oblivion. While busy bragging about what "hot shit" they were......an army of women took over. These women could do the maths and these women could do more than selfies and pictures of pies and a bug on a leaf! It was a fucking Revolution and while Dick and Bob were so busy making sure only certain players retained power they didn't realize that the ladies had flipped the script and now they had to be the ones making the sammiches!
