Steemit Exclusive Content: Interview Series E.1 - Today: The Bitcoin Meister - Adam Meister! The Disrupt Meister!
Several months ago, I came up with the idea to interview people by email, on a variety of topics but the connecting factor usually being a link to the Crypto/Blockchain/Crypto Currency space. The idea sat with me in my drafts folder since the summer of 2016 as I learned more about everything and the dynamics.
My goal was to bring exposure/engagement to the Crypto space giving some inside access to some cool, interesting people, giving people a glimpse of things not always seen today.
I have invested a lot of time online, learning about Blockchain and Crypto tech as it relates to Bitcoin and other Crypto Currencies and teach, and markets. We are all in this together, I always say.
I am pleased to start this series finally.

Why did I pick Adam to interview??
Awhile back, I found Adam's YouTube channel where he posts a daily video. I find him SUPER energetic and engaging and aware of the Crypto space. I find him funny and fresh, which is very nice to see. He responds to people. He deals with other tech and Crypto issues of the day, NOT just Bitcoin, which is honestly one of my favourite things about him and his approach.
Another thing I really like is that his approach is similar to mine in many ways: He understands that Marketing and Teaching of Crypto tech must be made simpler, for the masses to be "onboarded" or for them to adopt, thus driving the market space for the greater good, long term for everyone. The more people that understand and use Crypto Currency -- the better.
In short, he is a perfect match for some of the things I do in my own Crypto/Blockchain life and series that I run: Namely Crypto101 and Steemit101 to help newer people learn. (If you # those, you will see my ideas/series names pop up on here or online)

- My name is Adam Meister - I am from Baltimore Maryland. I enjoy traveling and have been on every continent excluding Antarctica at some point during the last year and a half. I am also known as the BitcoinMeister. I love Bitcoin and I host a very popular cryptocurrency show on Youtube. I have spoken about Bitcoin at events in Southern Africa where I made numerous cryptocurrency connections and friends. In South Africa I attended the first ever Steem Saturday. My unique Bitcoin experiences in southern Africa give me insight into the southern African and Portuguese speaking cryptocurrency communities that few Americans have.

- In the summer of 2016 viewers of my Youtube channel told me about it so I checked it out and thought it was a good way to get new people into cryptocurrency.

- Over the last few months the overall tone seems to be more hopeful.
5 / What else is on your mind you would like to speak on, wide open -- any topic?
- Many Americans need to get into better physical shape and stop depending on the government for all their answers.
6 / Get to know your Whales/Crypto/Blockchain space people: What are 3 things you would like readers to know about you ?
- I decided not to watch a single NFL game this season. There is only 1 more game left and I have not watched one yet.
- I run 20 miles a week
- I practice intermittent fasting every day.
7 / Where are you located or where have you lived? (to respect privacy be as specific or general as you like but hoping to get your city. If not then handle how you feel comfortable (ie worst case something like "N.E. Ohio")
- Baltimore will always be my home. It is where I was born. Where my family has been for over 100 years and where they probably will be for the next 100 :) - So far Maputo Mozambique is the most exotic (for Americans) place I have ever visited.
8 / What are your other interests in life?
- Judaism, travel, finance, real estate, space exploration
9 / How did you come to learn about Crypto and Crypto Currencies?
- Through the online libertarian community in 2011 or so.
10 / What is your top Crypto Tip (or 2) for people? If you type in # for searches for Crypto101 or Steemit101 (as discussed at times with people) -- you will see I have started those # (hashtags) online to help the masses with adoption and FAQ related resources. Also CryptoNoob lol
- Buy and hold Bitcoin. Keep it simple

- To have no man made obstacles forced upon me when I am conducting activities/transactions that are voluntary and do not hurt others.

- Try not to talk on a technical level as much. Keep things simple. Develop user friendly apps. Be patient.

And yes, that is a thing here. It was started in the Civic Auditorium here. About 2 mins from my house.
I'm doing ok. I have a lot of problems with pain. I broke my back about 35 years ago and am supposed to be in a wheelchair by now (according to the orthopedic surgeon). Sometimes I have a problem sitting for extended periods. I'm starting to feel a little better so I think I'll write about one of my favorite guys today... Machiavelli!
Sadly you know I can relate after what I have been thru. Not many people I invite to come visit me BTW.

It is nice to hear from you. I work super hard on some of my posts, looking at some of the content that goes by on the newsfeeds. It has been hard watching some of what trends and other decent content makes 50¢, it is kind of ridiculous at the trends and favoritism on here.
