Commemorating Islamic Holidays
Hi dear Steemians! How are you? I hope you are ok.
There are various types of holidays for Muslims. What is the meaning of Islamic holidays? Islamic holidays are days that happen that are very extraordinary and very important for Muslims. Examples of Islamic holidays are Muharram, 2 holidays (Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr), Isra 'Mi'raj, Mawlid and others. We as Muslims always commemorate Islamic holidays. We commemorate the Islamic holiday, which is providing food and meals together, religious services and others.
This photo is one example of commemorating the Islamic holiday, which is to commemorate the birth of the great prophet MUHAMMAD SAW (MAULID). The event was held at the mosque. The agenda is tausiah and eating together. For us Acehnese, we commemorate MAULID for 4 months, from Rabiul Awwal to Jumadil Akhir.
