As I meander through reoccurring mini existential crises, the thing that keeps popping up is :

WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE IN LIFE?

Like seriously, what is the whole effing point of being alive?

The answer keeps on changing for me.

From
'No there is no point to this life'
To
'We are only here because we just happened to come into existence'
To
'We need to do and experience everything we can in life'

And even though my answers change, there are a few points that stay put and make sense.

We are here to enjoy life.

You are now experiencing 'your' life, so you might aswell enjoy it and try to make it as much of a pleasant experience as possible within your circumstances. Whatever 'pleasant' may mean for you will change over the course of your lifetime, but you get my gist. It's about making your heart a lil happier, your soul shine a lil brighter and to be able to look back on life and say 'yeah, that was a good 'un'.

We are here to experience love.

Love, in all the complex and simple ways it comes into our life. We are love. That is the fabric of our existence. We can experience love ALWAYS. Let it be the thread that weaves its way through our life. Let iT be the space from which we live. Let it be the base from which you stand. Love can be found everywhere you look. Let us be love-seekers. Let us infuse our lives with love. Let us meet together in love.
I cannot experience how different life is when you consciously choose to work,live and breathe from love.

We are here to experience unconditional togetherness.

We are creating this story here together. We are a universal YOU. You = Me. Me = You. We may look different, we may act different but we are here together. This world would be nothing if it were only me in it. It is because we are together that it all comes alive. Instead of looking at the differences, let us find our connection. Let's work together to make this space a better place. Unconditional togetherness within ourselves, our community, our world. Let us find the space in which we are alike and can use that base to create good shit for ourselves, the people around us and who knows maybe even the world!

Union

Those three things are the things that ALWAYS come through, no matter what, when the pillars of my delicate life come crashing down.

I need to enjoy.
I need to love.
I need union.

And how about we change that I to We? Does it make sense?

We need to enjoy.
We need to love.
We need union.

Yea right?

We need to find joy in what we have and create lives that brings us real joy.
We need to love ourselves, find the love in situations and come from a love-based space.
We need union in all aspects of our multi-layered being.

Sometimes through the muddy waters of life, comes crystal clear insights like these.
And it is in these moments that it all makes sense once again and it keeps me going forward.
