So You Want To Know If Your Introduction Post Is Good Enough?
I will try to answer this for you…
Maybe your picture is Wonderful. Maybe you are very Beautiful and that is very good because some people will Upvote just because you are so Pretty/Handsome…
But…
(This was the picture I used for my Introduction post back in September of 2017. It is a picture of me from about 10 or so years ago. Nice right? No. Not for Introduction Post! But I did not know any better... This Intro post received 7 votes and made $0.09)
Without PROPER Introduction many people will suspect that you are not real. Many people will think you have just found pictures online of a beautiful woman or man and are pretending to be them…
And so without PROOF of your Identity many people will not want to possibly waste a vote by voting on a scam/fake profile… (People do not like to be tricked!)
Here is what you need to do!
If you have already posted a less than satisfactory Introduction then just make your introduction post again, and/or if posting for the first time, just follow these simple guidelines.
Write on a piece of paper or cardboard, The word STEEMIT, the DATE and your USERNAME, (@username) (by your own hand.) DO NOT HAVE IT PRINTED BY A PRINTER. (If you have it printed by machine then some people will still suspect it is not real because there are places online that generate fake signs)
Take a picture of yourself holding this sign and post it with your introduction.
If you post several different pictures of your holding this sign in this post, that is also a very good idea.
Okay now… We’re almost done…
Write a good title for this new post. Maybe something like, “I Am Real!” or “My New And Improved Introduction!” :-)
The title of your post is also very important because as people surf Steemit they will sometimes click, or not click depending on whether the title of your post has captured their attention…
Write… Write a little about yourself.
What are your interests? Why are you here at Steemit?
What types of post will you be doing?
Articles about food? Cryptocurrency? Fashion? Photography? Politics? Etc…
This will help the more serious Steemit user understand if they want to keep visiting/Follow for future articles.
When you write these things I suggest doing it something like this…
- PICTURE
- WRITING
- PICTURE
- WRITING… Etc…
That will make the post more enjoyable and interesting for the reader…
I will stop here. This is a very good beginning for a better introduction.

i had also a bad introduction post. now, i would have put a much better photo and a longer title describing shortly my interests. People that only write hello or similar without any explanations, they get nothing.... (like i didn't either) :)

I have not ever done a good and proper Introduction here.
I think I will use these pictures that I took today making this post and finally make a good introduction for myself. :-)
maybe u take some new photos in the day light outside! :)) they are a bit too dark, to be honest! :) now that u know so many tricks, you need to have a new introduce yourself :)

p.s. change your voting time in that programme you showed me) you vote in 1-2 min after posting, it's too early, you will not get curation rewards. I was said voters who vote after 30 min (first 5-6 ) get the main part of curation rewards

I understand. Okay I will change it.
I used to have it set to 20 & 30 minutes but I changed it because in so many cases I would notice that most of the voting was happening very early and I felt that I was missing it because I would be voting after the big money already happened...
So I changed it to be very early so I would not miss anything...
But I believe you know what you are talking about and I have great faith in your abilities to understand the "Steemit Machine". So I will change it! :-)
My Friend I have a question for you about the "Self Voting" here. I want to know what you think about the difference between when I vote at 100% for my posts or if I vote 50/50% for my posts.
I have always done 100% self vote for my posts but recently I have read that I will gain more if I do 50/50% for my posts so I have recently changed it from self vote 100% to self vote 50/50% for my posts.
I do not really understand and am not certain that I am making the correct decision.
I would like your opinion on this please. :-)

yes, my friend, it's right! you must set 50-50 selfvote, I don't know why, but I was said to do it by a clever steemit people-)
actually, I don't understand the steemit machine very much, but I have a friend, who is more experienced here, and he has told me some secrets, for example, about curation after 30 min. He has said it works 100% and has shown me some examples on my posts, seems to be the truth)
just examine it when you change time of voting, see how much curation award my post got, and how much you exactly got for your vote, you will be the 1st after 30 min it is a bot voting.
We can check this theory then.
I can't check it because I still haven't set the bot and I rarely vote exactly after 30 min (among first 5-6 voters).
