What is Critical Thinking?

maxresdefault (1).jpg

Critical thinking is basically the ability to think clearly and rationally about what we do or what we believe. It also includes the ability to engage in Reflective and Independent Thinking. Sounds Complicated right, let me Explain it to You Guys a little Better. Critical Thinking is like an Enhanced Version of Your Basic Reasoning.

Critical thinking is not a matter of Gathering a lot of information or Data. In case of Critical Thinking, we need to Observe and React to the Information which is available to you in that Moment. Critical Thinking is like challenging all the Facts of the World. You challenge them and then Decide for Yourself if the Fact is True or just a Facade.

In other Words, Critical Thinkers don't take anything on their Face Value. They are kinda Expert in Smelling out BS.

I want to know if I understood. Is thinking leaving feelings aside?.

Nope it's not Feelings are a Separate thing and Thinking is Different.

Feelings come from Heart whereas the Thinking goes on in the Brain.

There will be times when your Thinking will not agree with your Feelings but there are also Times when they Both agree to a certain thing.

for separating truth from falsehood and reasonable from unreasonable beliefs.😒

Yes that is absolutely True.

Critical thinking is very important and helps us to solve complex problems with an open-mind set.
Well written @arunava!

Yes Open set of Mind that is the Key Word in this case. We have to be open to everything even the Criticisms.

Spot on I call it life’s technical analysis, every aspect relavent.

Hehe, that's an awesome Way to look at it.

Man, that Would have been a Catchy Title.

Most people should use critical thinking, so we would have a better world. and we would not only be atheists who had the responsibility to give serious and valuable opinions and comments. thanks for such an interesting and brilliant content.

Most People's are not Critical Thinkers as our Society treats them as Outcasts.

I don't know about Other Countries but if a Comedian in India talks about any Social Cause which most of the People are Doing Wrong he/she would get a lot of Hate on Twitter.

I don't think I am that good a critical thinker, but I like a good challenge and can achieve goals when I set them.
