Human Development

Human Development Index
The Human Development Index (HDI) is an international standard that seeks to identify the level of well-being of the peoples of the world. The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is concerned with this indicator and all its annual reports and achieving its objectives. The program maintains annual reports for this indicator to benefit the living conditions and everything related to people in different countries of the world.
The Human Development Index is directly related to a range of human-related issues, such as the level of education of individuals, the average age, the level of illiteracy, and the standard of living. According to HDI statistics from 2008 to 2013, Norway and Australia ranked first with the highest value in human development .
Some countries do not belong to the whole world: Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Liberia, North Korea, Monaco, Marshall Islands, Kiribati, Montenegro, Taiwan, Serbia, San Marino, Palau, And Nauru.
How to measure HDI
The United Nations and Member States to calculate and measure the HDI are based on three criteria:
The value of GNP per capita, calculated in US dollars and then converted to PPP to find the difference between currency rates.
Life expectancy (average age).
Educational level.
