The truth is that identity has more to do with who you are on the inside and not what people think or say about you. Your identity is your personality, it is the combination of your character qualities, your beliefs and your feelings.

Identity is in Us.

We may be identified with our profession, career skills, study or even our social status, but all these can be separated from us and all that will be left with us is our identity. The main components of identity are thoughts because they make us to say what we say and to do what we do.

Your true identity will be branded by your inner qualities and the outer representations of self. Who you truly are will be reflected daily to the world through your words and your deeds. It is also said that beliefs control identity. I believe that is a wise saying because, what you strongly believe in your heart will completely consume your whole being and will become your reality.

You are who you are and no one can change that. Take hold of what you want to be and be what you want to be. People will talk and say much about you but that should not make you become their version of you. Someone once said that, "Whether you are succeeding or failing people will always talk.
