Jeff Berwick Reminds Me a Bit of Solomon

I've been watching a lot of Jeff Berwick vids on YouTube over the past few days. To be honest that's how I got over here to Steemit. I like a lot of what he has to say. Moving back to North America after a spell in Europe I was quite shocked to discover how oppressive government here is. Even after living in the EU for years it strikes me as really bad here, maybe I see it because I have been in a different boiling pot with some other frogs for a while. So hearing Canadian Jeff exposing the lies of the government, the health mafia etc. is a breath of fresh air. Is he waking up? I think so.
There is a lot of reference to JB scams on Steemit and @stellabelle sure seems to have done her homework. Kudos to her.
But what is most interesting about JB's personal videos on YT is that he seems to have woken up to the mass media programming lies that alcohol equals fun, popularity brings happiness, money buys joy etc. Also eating well is really difficult in North America. Almost everything is processed, what is fresh is often GMO, and expensive. Here social lives revolve around fast food, cigarettes, sex and alcohol. All pretty effective ways to get robbed by the devil.
To a certain extent the song remains the same: Go to school, get a job, get married, buy a ton of stuff that impresses no one, get old, get sick and die. Maybe throw in a few divorces and screwed up kids along the way.
Watching JB clean up in a series of vids and his realisation that happiness doesn't come in the form of a sports car, a big bank balance, or a huge number of meaningless sexual encounters and that Consumerism is just a Big Fat Lie has been fun and inspiring to watch.
To paraphrase the Grinch 'Maybe happiness doesn't come from a store.'
Solomon had thousands of women and untold riches and came to realise it all meant absolutely nothing. Vanity.
JB made a video a few weeks ago called "We Are All Massively Brainwashed... Here Are My Three Top Ways To Deprogram Yourself" which is worth a watch.
In it he says he now realises the elite are basically satanists but he doesn't get why. I can help you with that Jeff, watch this space - the answer is pretty straightforward.
Was JB a scammer in the past? Maybe. Is he now? Maybe. I really don't know. But grown ups need to do due diligence before handing over cash to anyone.
At the moment he is sharing some pretty priceless information on his personal YT channel, for free. Take advantage.
I pray his spiritual path takes him higher yet.
Maybe Berwick doesn't exist as there isn't much evidence Solomon did:)
Thanks for reading - I am always fascinated to see God get a hold of a man (or woman) and not let go. He did it to me and it was quite the experience. Thankfully faith requires exactly zero evidence.
I describe myself as an Agnostic Gnostic so I'm not an anti-theist. Religiosity is a fact, so is religious experience, but I've not much use for faith; evidence combined with logic and reason with an uncompromising eye towards the truth will get one closer to the bulls-eye, imo...
