RE: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION - LIFE LESSONS, PRESUPPOSITIONS, & TYPICALLY STEREOTYPICAL

That building looks too "official" to be a donut (or doughnut) shop. I suspect:

  1. It used to be a church, but the lobby coffee shop saw an opportunity and took over.
  2. It was the old police station and some ex-cops seized the opportunity (should I have used cops and seized in the same sentence in this context?).
  3. It's a front for drug dealers to keep cops occupied.
  4. It was once a grocery store (looks like a loading ramp?). They couldn't keep donuts in stock and everything else except coffee was sitting on the shop past its expiration date. They do sell beer in the back though.
  5. There are no coincidences.

Hmmm.... Now you sound like a Detective.... Want a doughnut?

Naw, I don't eat them. Got any dates?

Just one... with @mama-pepper. ... but you can't come.

The ramp is new. It is for the doughnut trucks. When they come the police officers get out of the station, line up, open their mouth and the the sideways tilting truck unloads it's freight.

That is an efficient way to unload!
