The Ganesha cake was a success ..... so much fun to make and share



What do you think? Ganesha was no easy cake to make but it was a fun one to do. From start to finish it probably took a few hours. When I as the TA gave a helping hand there was more discussion and fun taking place in the kitchen. My way of decorating a cake is not quite the same as my husband. He is much more careful and pedantic.

At morning tea time came we transported the cake next door to surprise our friend for her birthday. She was overwhelmed and taken back at getting a birthday cake, she had never received one like this before. So when we saw this it made the making of the cake all that more special. It made everyone laugh and of course for the ones who did not know about Ganesha, the Indian god of success, one who removes all obstacles, it was a good time to talk about him.

So there you go fellow steemians this is the Ganesha cake.
