PERFECT WEATHER FOR THE BEACH TODAY….. NO WONDER TOURISTS LOVE THE SUNSHINE COAST.
It is Sunday and loads of people are out and about on the beach. It is nearly the end of winter and although still a bit cool the sun was warm and the blue flat ocean was very welcoming. I happen to be driving through Coolum in the morning; it is one of the big tourist communities on the Sunshine Coast. People have come to this pretty beach to stay for a while –everything is accessible in this little place. There is a caravan park coffee shops, cafes, shops and accommodation all convenient located in walking distance of each other. An ideal place to holiday!
Coolum is a one happy town for holiday makers but not necessarily for drivers of vehicles. One must keep an eye open because there are lots of jay walkers wanting to cross the road to the foodie places and shops from the beach and caravan park.
I figured out that they are zoning out while sitting on their surfboards with legs daggling in the ocean. Any chance to get out there is worth it. It is the let’s still the mind moment that I envy as I would like to be sitting on a board instead of driving by in my car. I only get a quick look at this ocean scene.
This is the beauty of Australian beaches.

Looks very peaceful, but I imagine it's very cold and windy, being in the southern hemisphere.

Hello haritakrudu from Cape Town, nice to hear from you. Yes it is winter but not anywhere as cold as it is down south in New South Wales, The Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Tasmania etc. We are in the sub tropics so the weather is more temperate.

Yes janton, I think the it is too chilly but the beaches are glorious to look at and walk on. Sorry about the torture, haha.
