London event for the thinking type
Hi guys!
I'm starting a series of events, revolving around books, culture, and thinking. I'm pissed off with how everything is being dumbed down, how populism has become the dominant political force, and the spiral of hatred that is filling our societies. It's time to change.
In this democratic launch event I would like you to come with your thinking cap on and help me formulate the series. Bring ideas. Bring a suggestion for a title for the series.
This is what you can expect:
1. A brief introduction of the idea.
2. Reading by an author.
3. Open Mic for your poetry, prose, or music.
4. Artisanal coffee tasting, coutsey of our brilliant hosts Assembly Coffee.
5. Book Exchange: bring your favourite book and exchange it.

Good Luck with your idea, I think it definitely has legs.
Unfortunately, I'm a little too far away to get to you, but you never know, one day I may be in the vicinity at the right time and I'll drop in.
Not bringing my favourite book though... I need that ;)
