I apply the same strategy but I stored my steem in the wrong wallet! Long time ago I exchanged my ethe into steem when it got to 1.70 through Freewallet. However ever since I have not been able to pay out or exchange my steem credit. I have exhausted all possible ways with Freewallet to release my steem but they keep saying the wallet on maintenance. It has been so frustrating that I am left with no option but to wait. In their term of reference they give me nothing but negative hopes.
