2nd March: Boating In Phewa!

After my ultraflight experience to the mountains, we had planned to do boating in the Phewa Lake. In a small island in the lake, lies the Barahi Temple which my mom had been insisting on going. So, we were just in time to catch one of the last boats to the temple. The lake is most popular for the amazing reflections of Mt. Machapuchare and the Annapurna range.

We decided to get some food before heading to the lake and found this really nice place called the "Mount Kailash Resort" As our order was processed, I decided to take a walk around the place and as expected it turned out to be a beautiful one.

I am a huge dimsum lover along with my family, in fact it is a must for us when we are in Nepal. These were upto the mark for sure!

We were so full after this that it was almost hard to walk upto the boating spot. But I was glad that we didn't have to any adventure activity after that 😅 My brother @sauravrungta took the front row of the boat while acting as if he was Jack Sparrow leading the Black Pearl!

One incredible thing that happened while we were boating was that a few flocks of birds flew above us, one after the other. it was as if they were waving us goodbye while migrating elsewhere. And they were definitely big in size! My dad told me stories related to birds (something that he LOVES to do) while all of this was happening. These look amazing, don't you think?

The popular Barahi Temple! We reached and caught some gorgeous views of the lake and sky as the sun had almost set. It was very peaceful as the only sounds I could here were of the temple bells, water, birds and the wind.
