SMART OBJECTIVE: A viable tool for success
Life is so good if all want you have planned for are being achieved with relative ease.
- Many businesses have failed over time not as a result of lack of money but as a result of improper planning in a changing environment. Business are artificial being surrounded by risk in an uncertainty land.
- Many people has failed not because they wanted to be failure but they called themselves failure couples with the fact that they are only meditating in their wish not their plan.
- Even within the community, many steemians has lot their believe in the platform because steemit was painted for them as a source of income but no steemit is a just a platform that allow you to contribute your own quota yobyhe development of your society and the whole works at large. The rising number of Dapps on the steem block chain is very interesting as it helps to ease the use of steemit.
What can we do to encourage ourselves so that we will differentiate between wish and goals
In an accounting terminology, there is a coined words called SMART OBJECTIVE. The word SMART is an acronyms representing the characteristics of a viable objectives. To start with:
S- Specific
A viable objective must be specific. It must not be co-joined wishes. For instance, I want to help minnows grow is a wish but until I started making moves on how to achieve it then it became an objective with specific goal which is to help minnows grow.
The same thing that is happen to people is that they only wish but failed in taking steps. Make a specific objective today and your tomorrow will be for actions.
M- Measurable
The number of minnows on the steemit block chain is so much that I night no be able to reach all of them but I can decide to help 100minnows just as @crypto.piotr is currently helping about 80 young steemians of which I am one. Create a value for your goal so that you will have a destination not that you wilkjust be wandering around thinking you are almost there.
A- Adaptability
Your objective must not be so rigid that it cannot adapt to the current thread. In the first place you planned helping 100minnows bit you later discovered that you have the capability of helping 150. One thing is that you should not reduce your objective except under some circumstances which you are not capable of controlling.
R- Realistic
Helping all the steemit's minnows is a great idea but is it realistic. Can you achieve that. I did not mean you should set little objective for yourself but you should not set unrealistic objectives.
T- Timely
Every thing in life require time. Manage your time very well so that you will not be busy doing nothing. Set a time lag for all your objective and work towards it to make it an achievement.
Better said than done
Correct yourself today and remain being a winner.
