My firearms "permit" (yeah right, 2nd amendment accounts for that) is up for renewal...
My most recent verbal statement about this, just now: "I don't want to live in an unjust society."
And, I fully mean that. If I have to move somewhere where it's more just; so be it. And, if the weaponized thugs stop me from carrying my weapons by stopping me from breathing, I'm okay with that too. I won't hit first, and I intend not to take any souls.
I say "sorry" every time I kill a pest in the garden (or elsewhere) -- and, I've only killed insect pests; the woodchuck I captured and let go miles away.
Pretty sure the thugs with guns never say "sorry".
When I go to renew my "license" -- my "permission from the masters" -- I will explicitly state that the person taking my fingerprints has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution, and that this action is in violation of that; how do you plead? What, you think I'm joking? I don't need a licence to defend myself, according to the Constitution. Thus, YOU need an answer to defend your unconstitutional actions! You took an oath, didn't you? A blood oath? That means that your violation of this oath carries grave penalties, for you -- grave, as in, six feet under.
Keeping the people from being able to defend themselves against foreign invaders is treason and sedition, and the punishment of death is clearly stated in the documents you should have read prior to taking that oath. No, it's not in the Constitution, it's in further-on documentation created by the legislature -- documentation under which, you know, you must abide based on your oath. (The People don't abide under this oath because they've never taken it.)
You can choose to renew this permit; or, to enter into the computer "this Person don't need no stinking permits" -- or, you can choose to continue to violate The People. It's your choice! Just know, only one decision saves your soul.
I'm not so much worried about defending myself from foreign invaders. I'm worried about being victimized by those who "protect and serve" You know, the people who find it acceptable to extort money from me if I don't wear a seatbelt "for my own protection"
I'm getting less and less intolerant of this tyranny by the day...
I own multiple handguns, and my husband as well, plus he has a few rifles and shotguns for hunting.
The handguns are used a minimum of twice a month when we go to the gun range in the neighboring city.
I practice my 2nd Amendment right and am waiting the governor of our state to pass the law that we do NOT need a safety class for a CCW. Open carry? Yes we want that. CCW? Yes that too.
It is my right as a US citizen to protect myself, my family and my property. Take that away from me? Oh NO!

A license is, by definition, ipso facto proof that either a right has been infringed or a crime has been legalized. After all, a license is government permission to do something that is otherwise illegal.
I should probably buy a gun for personal safety. My brother has a few tho that helps.

Excellent POST, and spot on. This government has grown so far from what it is supposed to be, it's unrecognizable. It's snowballed into a tyrannical, and evil enemy of the people, and I truly believe that is an accurate statement. I'd bet that if everyone of the men that helped to establish this great nation could see what this government has become, they'd grab their muskets and head to Washington. I suspect George Washington would be offended that the place is still using his name.
When I was a young boy, I got an amazing feeling when we had to say the Pledge of Allegiance everyday in school. I knew (or thought I knew) that I lived in a great land, and the government protected and cared about me. Now, every time I think about the Freedom and Justice for All line, I kinda get of a sick feeling.

Yes sir. Our government is not our government. In days gone by men like Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Andrew Jackson and many others, would've taken up arms long ago. We just moan and complain, and take some more. The truth is, trying to fight them with weapons is really not an option unless everyone was onboard.
I'm really not sure if the cryptos were put here to save us, or a construct by the CIA, Federal Reserve, and/or the banks of Wall Street, but it does feel good knowing that we may have an alternative to their insanely corrupt fiat money scam. If we could break their control via the corrupt currency, we could definitely change things.
I too, am so ticked-off that I can't hardly take it anymore. I have a son (28), and (2) younger daughters, and I absolutely refuse to go and leave them in this, without trying somehow to make things better.

I'm about done with our "government" The promise of Freedom that so many fought and died for has been rescinded slowly and surely one compromise at a time. Now if you refuse to pay tribute you will be jailed or possibly killed. No thanks.
Yes, people are just conditioned to obey 'Big Brother,' and never question anything until something crazy hits them directly. If 'they' get the public disarmed, I can't imagine what will happen pretty much over-night.
