The Water's Edge Deli is a hidden gem in Milford, Connecticut. Situated on New Haven Ave in the Woodmont area, Water's Edge serves up delicious sandwiches and wraps to the beach side community. I like to go to the Water's Edge for breakfast sandwiches, but they have a lot of great lunch specials too.
One of my go-to orders is a loaded Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich, which consists of two fried eggs, home fries, onion frizzles, american cheese, ketchup and pepper stuffed inside a soft kaiser roll. As you can see, it's an awesome looking sandwich and it tastes just as good as it looks (if not better!).
The inside of the Water's Edge is not impressive, but the employees are always friendly. There are a couple spots to sit down and eat, but most people take their orders to go. It's a nice little neighborhood deli and I highly recommend it.

Places like this were a staple when I worked on the railroad in New Jersey. My go to was Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a Kaiser roll. With hot sauce and ketchup.
