Review of Restoran Woon Kiang 汶強粿條仔
Johor does not disappoint. We decided to try out the Johor Kueh Tiaw Kia which is the local sugnature dish around these parts.
Kueh Tiaw Kia is this sort of flat noodle made of rice flour that is distinct in its texture where its thin enough to taste like whatever soup it's dipped in but still chewy enough to enjoy in biting on.
We eat it assorted local dishes to complement the Kueh Tiaw Kia as we're told that it's the salt on the dishes that give taste to the Kueh Tiaw Kia.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. And was surprised at how cheap everything was.
All in all, all the dishes including drinks and all adds up to about RM12 per person. Which is about $4 for a filling dinner with lots of variety.
