I have to say the sets back then were simple and made by typical blocks. Now all the lego sets have specific blocks and only way you can build it is to buy the set at ridiculous amount. Typical kids or family these days can't afford the legos they put out today.

One thing I love about Lego is their consistency. What you got 4 decades ago is just about the same as what you're getting now.
