Hello Fellow Steemians,

This has been one of my favorite contests to participate in. It's a great way to get the wheels in your brain turning and create new neural synapses. This will be my third time entering this CrAzY CoOl contest. The Learn & Earn Contest was created by the worldly traveler - sport enthusiast - jiu jitsu whitebelt master - Steemian that goes by the name of @matkodurko. Anyone can participate...in fact I would highly recommend it. Let's get those intellectual juices flowing shall we!

Come join us as we #learnandearn !

Day of the WeekLesson of the Day
Monday, March 18, 2019There are 3 types of the influenza virus (A, B, and C) and unfortunately only a vaccine for type A and B....none for type C....that sucks!
Tuesday, March 19, 2019Every four years a leap year happens. This is to help synchronize the calendar year with the solar year, which is the length of time it requires the earth to complete its orbit about the sun....that's about 365¼ days.
Wednesday, March 20, 2019Humans shed about 600,000 particles of skin every hour. That is about 1.5 pounds a year. So by the time you reach the age of 70, you would have lost about 105 pounds of skin.
Thursday, March 21, 2019A common misconception is that the word "GOLF" is an acronym for Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden. I always thought that was the case, but apparently it is not true. It is now accepted that the word 'golf' is derived from an old word meaning 'club'.
Friday, March 22, 2019The Gutenberg Bible, aka the 42-line Bible, is the world's oldest mechanically printed book per it's listing by the Guinness Book of World records. The first copies were printed in 1454-1455 AD.
Saturday, March 23, 2019If Kane Tanaka lives another 6 years then she will have surpassed the record held by Jeanne Louise Calment of France for the past 22 years for the oldest person in the world. Calment was born on Feb. 21, 1875 and died at the age of 122 years.
Sunday, March 24, 2019According to a group of researchers at the University of Missouri, the HAPPIEST SONG in the world is…............."Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen.
