This is my submission to @emjoe's Learn And Earn Contest.
Today's Letter is "E"
It's pretty hard to find veggies or fruits starting with letter E and as I was about to give up, I remembered that I had some dried Eucalyptus Leaves tucked away.
So my selection is E for Eucalyptus ...
Eucalyptus has been used as a herbal medicine for centuries. It is used in cough syrups and lozenges for its healing properties.
It is also used as a flavor enhancer because of it's sharp aroma.

A Cooking Tip.
Dip a few Eucalyptus leaves in water and put them over coal to give your grilled chicken, fish or meat unique eucalyptus smoky flavor.
