The lizards come from a family of reptiles,they are close siblings with snakes,infact some lizards actually look like snakes,with no legs.lixards have a broad species with about 4,675 species.
below is a picture of a snake like lizard.
They generally have large heads,tiny throats and long tail and body.unlike some snakes lizards dont have eyelids.

Did you know that lizards don't have eye lids like us,rather they clean their eyes when they blink,also a membrane in their eyes help shield them from light,dust and dirt.
