The landscape during an eclipse ...entry for @juliank contest
So I managed to witness one of the greatest Solar Eclipses in our lifetime. This photograph was shot in Southern Illinois in the midwest of the US. The amazing thing is that it looks like the photo was shot at sunrise/sunset while it's actually just past noon.
The fact that it was so dark during the eclipse was one of my favorite things about it. Did it also get a little chilly where you were? Cool shot by the way. :)
Nope... didn't get even remotely chilly where we were...infact it was one of the most blisteringly hot and humid days that we had in a while. literally had the worst weather possible but we all put up with it for the eye in the sky ! :D
thank you! where did you watch the eclipse from ?
I was up in Northern Idaho for it. Great location, almost 90% coverage. It got cold!
thats awesome! I am lucky enough to have been near Carbondale, IL which was where the totality was the longest but like I said... the weather was terrible.
