Family trip to the largest bog in South Germany
A few days ago, together with my sister and my little niece, I took a trip to Federsee, the largest moor in southwestern Germany near the city Bad Buchau. The unique natural landscape and the ancient cultural products have been included in the network of protected areas "Natura 2000" by the European Union. Since the middle of the 19th century, the area has been declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.
The Federsee offers a unique nature experience in every season. The lake is also particularly popular with wildlife photographers, as there are rare birds in the area.
Familienausflug zum größten Moor Süddeutschlands
Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich zusammen mit meiner Schwester und meiner kleinen Nichte einen Ausflug zum Federsee gemacht, dem größten Moor in Südwestdeutschland bei Bad Buchau. Die einzigartige Naturlandschaft und die uralten Kulturzeugnisse wurden von der Europäischen Union in das Schutzgebietsnetz „Natura 2000“ aufgenommen, seit Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde das Gebiet von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe ernannt.
Der Federsee bietet zu jeder Jahreszeit ein einzigartiges Naturerlebnis. Besonders beliebt ist der See auch von Tierfotografen, da in dem Gebiet seltene Vögel zu beobachten sind.

Ja, lohnt sich auf jeden Fall mal wenn man in der Nähe ist.
Im Sommer kostet es Eintritt, wenn man auf den Steg will. Ich glaub 2,50€ für Erwachsene. Da hat auch das dazugehörige Museum geöffenet.
In der Nähe gibt es auch noch einen "Wackelwald", mit Kindern auf jeden Fall ein Spass.
Der Boden bewegt sich, wenn man darauf läuft, fast wie auf einem Trampolin... :-)
