Climbing along the rushing waterfall - The Lehner Waterfall Via Ferrata
Hey Steemian friends,
i want to share another adventure story with you all.
In this summer, i made a road trip for several weeks through the wonderful alps in Germany, Austria and Italy.
I visited beautiful nature landscapes, hiked and climbed a lot of stunning mountains and enjoyed the fresh cool lakes and air. :-)
Today i want to share with you the story of the Lehner Waterfall Via Ferrata in the beautiful Ötztal Alps in Austria.
The jubilee via ferrata is called one of the most beautiful climbing routes in Tyrol.
The impressive climbing system in the vicinity of a high waterfall is cleverly laid out and it offers almost most the time a close up view to the plummeting floods.
In 2014, a heavy variant was built in the upper part right next to the waterfall, with long overhanging parts. (Difficult D/E)
You climb on many brackets up to a great rope bridge, which is a really great final end passage of the via ferrata.
In the Ötztal Alps, there are many beautiful climbing routes, via ferratas and hiking trails. Some of them I was allowed to enjoy this summer and i will share the sorties about this tours in the nearly future with you.
