The Windswept Trees of Twistleton Scar
Hi all,
Twistleton scar is a limestone pavement that is located near to the small town of Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales. A short climb from the top of the Ingleton waterfalls trail takes you to the top of this hill, where trees somehow manage to grow out of the limestone pavement and appear bonsai-like in their appearance. There is an eerie beauty about the place.
