3 Tammy´s tips for empty beaches when on Gozo Island

Gozo meaning "joy" in Castilian, is the second largest Island of the Maltese archipelago. To get there you have to take a Gozo Channel Line ferry from Malta.
Here are 3 tips where to enjoy Gozo like native Gozitan.

1. Xwejni Bay
Xwejni Bay is a bay located in the northern part of Gozo, near the place where I lived and worked. It is great spot for bathing and starting point for divers. It offers also absolutely beautiful views encompassing the salt pans.

2. Ramla Bay
Unique beach with golden-reddish sand which makes it different from all others in Gozo and Malta. If you are bored of chill out in the sun you can go on sandy path hillside which leads up to the Calypso Cave.

3. San Blas beach
Lovely little secluded sandy beach down a very steep track, which definitely keeps the crowds away.
Important fact - there is no restaurant and no shop :)

P.S. I usually take a little bit of nature from places i visit... sand, shells, cones or dry flowers and put it to jar with the year to remember me the great time I had there. Do you also do that?
