Lake Maggiore during winter, with the snowcapped Alps in the background. Picture taken from near Locarno (Canton of Ticino). I decided to not edit out the small plane ;-)

Update May 8, 2018: Thank you @sgorenko for noticing that on the original picture, the horizon was crooked. Picture fixed.

    Damn, I was staring at this picture for over a minute, thinking... wait, is the horizon crooked? Yet, I somehow thought that it wasn't, but you are right.
