Riverside Thoughts
Rushing water flows over the rocks like the clouds drift over the mountains.
Undaunted by what is in its path, its victory is inevitable.
Cutting its trail through the mountains, it won't be stopped.
Such a peaceful work of art,
what a destructive force.
How can beauty be so destructive?
How can something so simple be so... satisfying.
I've always loved being next to the river. The sound of the moving water never cease to ease my heart. It is so incredibly peaceful, and has become a necessity for me. It has also taught me something.
Sometimes, silence can be deafeningly loud.
But being alone can drive people crazy.
And Sometimes, noise can be so quiet.
Numbingly silent.
So to truly achieve peace we must search out a harmony between the two.
I find that on the river's side.

Very thoughtful post describing the river. So philosophical! Something Id expect to hear from a Indian/ native american Shaman :D. Wonderful description of what is happening experiencing the river flow easing the heart. Maybe its because we are 75-80% water.
Haha! Thanks dude. To be honest I am Native American, maybe it runs in my family? 😂 Also, I like that idea of being 80% water, such an interesting thought!
